The Opportunity

At Derivative Path, we prioritize growth by supporting every team member on their journey towards their next milestone and accomplishment. The ideal candidate will work with other Analysts and support Senior Implementation team members with client onboardings for Derivative Path’s leading fin-tech software for derivatives.

In addition, you will leverage your digital and technology acumen to analyze, transform and prepare transactional data which is critical to client implementations and operations while learning about financial transactions, processing and reporting. You will report to the Head of Professional Services with day-to-day oversight from Senior Implementation managers.

What You’ll Do


Professional Services

  • Effectively applies Derivative Path methodology and enforces implementation standards
  • Execute project tasks integrating the derivative portfolios and business processes of clients into Derivative Path platforms.
  • Assist in driving full scope of system implementation activities, including gathering functional and technical requirements, designing solution, building interfaces and systems, completing testing cycles, delivering training, and deploying the final product deliverables.
  • Support configurations, train clients on technical solutions, and ensure quality of delivery and all deliverables, including process documentation and UAT scripts.
  • Support the client relationship from onboarding, implementation, and client satisfaction
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Client Success

  • Work closely with the client success team on the analysis and resolution of client inquiries related to derivatives trading, Derivative Path platform usage, and client business processes.
  • Serve as a first response contact for both client and internal operations-related inquiries.
  • Develop knowledge base documentation related to Derivative Path platforms and procedures.

Qualifications


  • Baccalaureate or Graduate degrees in Business or Finance or relevant work experience.
  • Background in finance, accounting, or a related field, with exposure to capital markets or transferable experience preferred.
  • Exposure to Derivative Capture, Payment processing or TMS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortability with data analysis and use of productivity tools like Excel.
  • Willingness and ability to learn financial transaction concepts and apply in a software configuration and onboarding project(s).
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.

The expected salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000and is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity. On the sales and execution front, throughout their careers, the team have been strong contributors to and led derivative sales efforts for major banks. They have also helped establish new derivatives back-to-back hedging programs for numerous small and medium-sized financial institution clients. On the technology front, our team possesses industry leading expertise. Our technology team is headed by a former Head of Technology at Wells Fargo Securities. In addition, the team comprises senior leaders with backgrounds in rates and commodities trading and risk, as well as application development. We have developed a state of the art derivative trading platform, DerivativeEDGE, which we make available to all of our clients. This platform helps us automate key aspects of our clientsᅢᄁ¬ツᆲ¬トᄁ trading operations and the tasks necessary from a trade servicing standpoint as well. The platform provides a regional/community bank the confidence to operate a hedging program vis-ᅢテᅡᅠ-vis the requirements of its regulators/auditors.
