- Analyze and repair system issues by applying a broad range of troubleshooting methods.
- Monitor system performance, perform diagnostics, and troubleshoot to ensure high reliability and availability of supported networks.
- Administer and configure Box or other Cloud storage platforms, managing user accounts and access permissions, and overseeing content security and compliance.
- Work with engineers and understand technical concepts, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical customers
- Conduct preventive maintenance, implement patches, and lead upgrades of hardware/software.
- Install, configure, operate, and maintain network and system hardware/software.
- Use ticketing software and work orders to prioritize and conduct troubleshooting of hardware and software issues, to include laptops and peripherals.
- Conduct technical refreshment of equipment and replace equipment near its end of lifecycle by installing, configuring, and deploying hardware and software solutions.
- Experience with collaboration tools within an Agile environment .
- Provide documentation for trouble tickets and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Apply best practices, tools, and methods to support the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to performance specifications
Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience conducting root cause analyses and implementing recommended solutions to troubleshoot or remediate issues.
- Work on a cross-functional team across a broad range of technologies to ensure infrastructure components are properly maintained and supported.
- Strong background and familiarity with Linux, Windows, and Cloud environment best practices.
- Experience providing Cloud storage administration support.
- Familiarity with Okta and understanding of user provisioning and deprovisioning, single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) configuration, application integration, policy management, and security compliance.
- Experience working with system engineers and translating technical concepts from engineers to non-technical customers
- Support the design, development, installation, testing, debugging, and maintenance of network operating systems, software, and hardware
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and work in an Agile framework
- Knowledge and experience with the application, configuration, and administration of patches and remediations that are per customer specifications/requirements.
- Demonstrated experience recognizing, analyzing root causes, mitigating, and resolving technical risks
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security adjudication.
