Specializing in a wide range of consulting, accounting, tax advisory, and compliance services, we focus on helping our clients build and achieve their goals.We are seeking a talented and experienced Quickbooks Accounting Associate with expertise in Quickbooks Online. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices and preferably in government contracting.
This role will involve working closely with government contractor clients, providing specialized accounting services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare or assist clients with accounting transaction entry or clean up.
- Prepare and review financial statements and indirect cost rate calculations for clients.
- Accurately categorize expenses in QBO to maintain compliance with tax and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality accounting solutions and exceed client expectations.
- Assist clients in understanding how to use QBO features effectively.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards and apply knowledge to client engagements.
- Deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience in government contracting preferred, but not required.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
