Role
This is a remote role on a remote-focused team, so we’re looking for candidates who are experienced and comfortable in this style of collaboration. Great written and verbal communication skills are a must in this type of environment.We are seeking a highly motivated front-end engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a front-end engineer, you will be responsible for participating in the design and development of our web applications. You should have a strong understanding of front-end technologies and be comfortable asking questions to fully understand goals and constraints, and then independently make decisions based on this knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web application front-ends.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Write end-to-end and units tests to ensure high product quality.
- Gather and address technical and design requirements.
- Provide support to internal teams.
- Liaise with developers, designers, internal stakeholders, and customers to identify new features.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a front-end engineer or similar role.
- Strong experience with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with React.
- Ability to proactively identify and solve engineering problems.
- Experience using Git.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
