Position: Leasing Specialist for 1010 Dilworth Apartments - Charlotte, NC
Role Overview
As a Leasing Specialist for 1010 Dilworth Apartments, your primary focus is to lease apartment homes in a very competitive market. In addition, you will deliver exceptional customer service to meet the ongoing needs of current residents and plan social events. This community features 184 apartment-homes.Competitive hourly rate + monthly bonus/commission + 20% rent discount (if needed) + health/dental/vision/401K + paid training and industry certifications + fun company events
Most Important Responsibilities
- Building rapport with prospects to generate interest in the community.
- Converting leads to tours and consistently following up.
- Ability to "close the sale" by convincing future residents to live at your community.
- Product knowledge. Understand our product and be able to articulate its value. (i.e. the apartment, community amenities, surrounding area).
- Marketing intelligence. Know your local market, competitors, etc. to craft effective strategies including social media.
- Develop relationships with your current residents and any stakeholders.
- Collaborate with your team. Understand the unique needs of prospects and residents to determine the best solution.
Most Important Qualifications
- Leasing experience strongly preferred.
- Sales background, hospitality and/or customer service exp also considered.
- Ability to work 2-3 Saturdays per month (still enjoy 40 hours per week)
- Reliable vehicle, driver’s license.
- Self-motivation and drive. Quick on your feet with a strong work ethic.
- People skills. Ability to have conversations with prospects and listen to their real needs, so you can build rapport and trust.
