Account Executive, Mid-Market

This is an Account Executive role.


You and two other AEs will be the first members of the sales organization.

This is a sales role.


Almost all of your time will be spent SELLING.

We're a sales-led-growth business.


Our product is not pure PLG or PLS. Bottom line: we don't make money unless you SELL our product.

Responsibilities


  • Qualify leads: Deeply understand customer problems and qualify those within our ICP using your industry and product knowledge.
  • Own inbound: Work signups, run fast multi-channel outreach, and experiment to source, activate, and close.
  • Prospect outbound: Identify and engage high-potential accounts to create pipeline where none exists.
  • Drive deals: Run structured discovery, tailored demos, mutual close plans, and rigorous follow-up to hit targets.
  • Account expansion: Identify expansion opportunities within current customers and upsell.
  • Forecast with precision: Maintain clean pipeline hygiene and provide clear, data-backed forecasts.

What you'll do


  • Sell our core platform into Mid-Market and Enterprise businesses.
  • Build the sales motion (playbooks, talk tracks, repeatable process) from the ground up.
  • Partner with the executive team to tighten ICP, pricing, and packaging based on live feedback from the field.
  • Help build a dedicated salesforce over time (BDRs, AEs, Sales Ops).

  • Working insanely hard and delivering results.
  • Pattern-matching and operating with very little information.
  • Top 1% energy. You love talking with customers and you listen hard.
  • Communicating crisply in writing and on calls.

About you

  • Curious: you will talk to customers and deeply understand them and their business—you find this genuinely interesting.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and direct feedback.
  • Prior success selling to Mid-Market or Enterprise strongly preferred.

Compensation


  • The salary range for this role is $160k–$200k OTE.
  • All compensation packages include equity because we believe employees building Doss deserve ownership. Salary and equity offered will be determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
