What you’ll do:
- Own the entire deal lifecycle – from initial consultation to underwriting to closing, working directly with business owners, referral partners, and lenders.
- Master the SBA universe – 7(a), 504, Express loans, and conventional financing, becoming the go-to expert clients trust with their biggest financial decisions
- Build your empire – develop a thriving book of business through referral partnerships with CPAs, brokers, and other referral sources who send you their best opportunities
- Break through barriers – navigate complex financial structures, credit challenges, and lending requirements to get deals approved that others can't
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years crushing it in commercial banking, SBA lending or small business finance
- Proven track record of exceeding goals and building client relationships
- Deep knowledge of small business financing landscape and commercial lending
- Expert-level communication skills – you can explain complex financing to anyone
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments
Bonus points:
- Track record of closing complex deals with challenging credit profiles
- Background in business development, underwriting, or closing
- SBA lending certifications or specialized training
- Established relationships with referral partners

As an early-stage company building at the frontier of AI, we work with high intensity and commitment. While schedules can vary by role/team, many weeks will demand extra focus, flexibility and time particularly during major launches and high impact sprints. We're seeking those who are aligned to and able to commit to that expectation which includes 5 days per week in our San Francisco Office.Compensation Range: $80K - $115K
