About the role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Console, you’ll be responsible for making customers successful with the product. You'll work with sales, product, engineering, and directly with leadership to understand and solve customer requests, and help fold the learnings back into the core product.Some examples of work you might do:
- Help a front-line support agent integrate Console to automate a workflow they've been forced to solve manually for years
- Build AI tooling to analyze tickets and surface insights to prospective customers on where they can increase automation
- Drive product decision making that turns your customer insights into platform value
You'll have room to be creative, work autonomously with customers, and shape both the platform and the product vision.This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We work in-person and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
About you
- You're a fast learner with high-aptitude and strong generalist intuitions that you can transfer across domains
- You're technical and can think through technical problems; you've built things from scratch and like to understand how systems work under the hood
- You enjoy working with people and feel a sense of personal responsibility to customers and teammates who rely on you
- You aspire to be a founder and you want to learn as much as you can, as fast as you can, across multiple domains
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-time experience working in a technical role or as a software engineer
- Hands-on experience working across multiple functions or domains
- Obsessed with building incredible product experiences for users, and never happy with "good enough"

Compensation Range: $180K - $280K
