Platform Services Engineer
What you will do As a Platform Services Engineer at Aimpoint Digital, you'll play a critical role at the intersection of client delivery and internal enablement. In this dual-capacity position, you will contribute directly to client-facing projects while also owning the development and refinement of internal tools, automations, and delivery frameworks that empower our teams to operate with greater speed, consistency, and quality. This role is ideal for the engineer who thrives on creating impact across both client outcomes and internal systems.

- Deliver engineering work on client-facing services and consulting projects, contributing directly to outcomes related data pipelines, platform deployments, observability, and infrastructure modernization
- Build internal tools, frameworks, and automations that reduce delivery friction and accelerate the onboarding, monitoring, and support of client environments.
- Collaborate with Platform Services and Engineering team to develop and evolve delivery playbooks, onboarding guides, and platform best practices aligned with our initiatives
- Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance platform resiliency, delivery velocity, and engineering consistency
Who you are: You are a systems-oriented engineer who excels in both client-facing delivery and internal platform development. You enjoy solving technical problems at multiple levels; from architecting client solutions to creating scalable, reusable assets that enable efficient delivery across the organization. You bring strong technical skills, a product-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to improving operational excellence. You are:
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Consulting experience a plus
- Experience working directly with clients or technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (SQL, Python, or similar)
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift)
- Familiarity with alerting, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices
- Experience using cloud-native ETL/ELT and orchestration tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in evolving, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership
- A detail-oriented, process-driven mindset with a commitment to quality and operational improvement
