Our leaders continuously strive to provide the tools and resources that you need to do what you do best each and every day!It is a very exciting time of growth for our Finance team, and we are currently hiring a Controller to provide leadership for our US and offshore Accounting, Payroll and AP teams.
This hybrid role can be located anywhere in Dallas, TX or Nashville, TN
What will my role be?
General Ledger & Technical Accounting
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage technical accounting matters, including complex transactions, new accounting standards, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Lead financial systems design and implementation. Consolidate financial systems from M&A activity into one platform as such needs arise
Financial Reporting
- Lead preparation of financial statements and management reports for both internal and external stakeholders, including private equity sponsors and lenders.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate, direct, plan and execute the external audit and assume the primary liaison role with external independent auditors
Accounts Payable & Treasury
- Oversee the AP function, ensuring proper controls, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury operations to optimize liquidity.
- Oversee foreign currency translation and multicurrency treasury operations
Tax & Compliance
- Partner with external advisors to manage federal, state, and international tax compliance and planning.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
Payroll
- Direct payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and coordination with HR.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals. Manage department staff members in a remote work environment.
- Further develop accounting practices and streamline operations with a recently created accounting center in India. Ensure documentation of SOPs is updated and maintained.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across geographies.

What's Required?
- CPA with over 6+ years of experience in a public accounting firm and/or controllership experience
- Big 4 public accounting background preferred
- Skilled knowledge of financial statement analysis and GAAP, corporate finance concepts, and reporting techniques
- Previous experience overseeing offshore teams
- Deep understanding of multiple professional service and recurring revenue streams and full period end close skill set applicable to a consulting practice
- Excellent communicator and collaborator across multiple functions and management levels.
- Superior technical, quantitative and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks
- Proactive, independent, and self-motivated, with the initiative to research information, solve problems and get things done
- Capable of using sound judgment and unquestionable integrity when managing confidential information
- Emotionally intelligent with the ability to build strong professional partnerships
- Thrive in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI) skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Solver, Kantata, Yooz and GoTransverse will be looked upon favorably.
- Travel – this position is expected to occasionally travel to Dallas for corporate team meetings.
