Position Overview


Bullish is seeking an experienced and innovative Manager of Business Intelligence (Finance) to lead our team. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of our financial strategy, guiding a team of data scientists and analysts to build sophisticated models and tools. You'll drive the development of machine learning and predictive analytics to improve forecasting and budgeting, all while collaborating closely with finance and operations teams. This is a unique opportunity to not only analyze large datasets, including emerging technologies like blockchain, but also to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Required working days onsite are at the discretion of the hiring manager and are subject to change based on business needs.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead with Impact: Guide and mentor a team of talented data scientists and analysts in developing financial models and analytical tools that support FP&A functions
  • Innovate Financial Strategy: Spearhead the design and implementation of machine learning models and predictive analytics to revolutionize our financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
  • Translate Data into Action:Partner with FP&A, accounting, and operations teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that directly support our strategic goals.
  • Visualize Insights: Oversee the creation and maintenance of dynamic dashboards and visualization tools, providing real-time insights into critical financial metrics.
  • Uncover Opportunities:Dive deep into complex datasets, including blockchain transaction data, to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities that will shape our financial performance.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Uphold the highest standards for data accuracy, integrity, and security across all financial systems and analytics platforms.
  • Influence Leadership:Present compelling findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, turning complex data narratives into clear, actionable business decisions.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data science, financial analytics, or a similar role
  • Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
  • Required proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau) and strong experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • A proven track record of working with financial data, including FP&A processes, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset management is desired but not required.

Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
