About the role


At Nubank, the ALM area plays a strategic role by planning and managing liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk, which provides a global view of the bank as a whole.The Senior ALM Analyst works on solving advanced analytical problems, using data, experience, and tools. They work in close collaboration with finance teams, such as FP&A and Controllership, as well as with risk areas and internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for


  • Strategically planning and managing long-term liquidity and funding structure, interest rate risk of the banking book (IRRBB), and the funds transfer pricing (FTP) framework.
  • Solving advanced analytical problems using data, experience, and tools.
  • Developing a global financial view of Nubank's business as a whole.
  • Supporting liquidity and funding management for national and international operations.
  • Collaborating with team members and other teams in a constructive and data-driven manner.

We are looking for a person who has


  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with balance sheet management, risk management, or asset and liability management (ALM), or related areas. 
  • An analytical background.
  • Statistical and forecasting skills.
  • Interest or knowledge in data manipulation tools (such as DataBricks, SQL, Python, and SAS).
  • Previous experience in related areas is a plus (e.g., Treasury, Market and Liquidity Risk, Financial Planning, etc.).
  • Advanced English proficiency.
