About the Role:
Generation Tux is seeking an experienced and
Customer-Obsessed
Manager to lead our in-store location at a world-renowned Bridal Salon in New York City. This position is responsible for managing daily operations, assisting walk-ins and appointments, and serving as a menswear expert for both brides and their wedding parties. This is a unique opportunity to operate within a prestigious bridal environment while representing a modern, innovative approach to formalwear rental.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience & Sales
- Interact with brides and their family and friends in the Bridal Salon lobby prior to and/or after their appointment to introduce the Generation Tux brand and value proposition.
- Provide best-in-class service to clients seeking formalwear for weddings and events.
- Support brides and their families by recommending appropriate formalwear solutions for every member of the wedding party.
- Deliver confident styling advice on fit, fabrics, and color coordination to meet event needs.
- Guide customers through the Generation Tux rental process - from Free Swatches to Home-Try-Ons.
- Manage a robust appointment calendar and respond to walk-in inquiries with warmth and professionalism.
Business Operations
- Maintain high showroom standards, including merchandising, cleanliness, and brand alignment.
- Track leads and conversions using Generation Tux’s CRM tools and appointment platforms.
- Handle basic administrative tasks such as appointment follow-ups, order status checks, and customer outreach.
- Liaise regularly with both the Bridal Salon team members and Generation Tux field leadership to ensure partnership success.
Team & Partnership Leadership
- Build strong working relationships with bridal stylists and accessories stylists and sales managers.
- Serve as the in-store expert and point of contact for any Generation Tux-related questions or needs.
- Represent Generation Tux at in-store events, trunk shows, and special promotions hosted by Bridal Salon.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of retail, bridal, or luxury service management experience, including direct leadership of a team of 2–5 people
- Proven success in driving sales performance and operational excellence
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- You have a strong leadership presence and hold yourself and others accountable while motivating through support and recognition
- Comfortable balancing customer-facing service with operational responsibilities like scheduling, reporting, and inventory
- Tech-savvy, detail-driven, and adaptable in a boutique-style environment
- Passion for weddings, styling, and creating memorable client experiences
- Ability to work independently in a boutique-style environment
- Proficient with digital tools and able to adapt quickly to technology
- Weekend and evening availability required
