About the Role
As our Events Manager, you'll play a key role in executing Augment Code's global event strategy, helping to create memorable experiences that resonate with developers and technical decision-makers. This is a high-impact role where you’ll manage critical event programs and contribute to making events a core part of our marketing strategy.
Your Mission
- Support the positioning of Augment Code as the essential platform for developers through strategic event presence, such as Developer Conferences, Meetups, and our own User Conf, to fuel product-led growth and self-serve revenue.
- Attend large trade shows and industry events to generate a qualified pipeline and support our Enterprise Sales Motion.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to and execute an event strategy that increases awareness of our solution
- Track and report on KPIs and event ROI for pipeline generation and self-serve acquisition
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Product to ensure cohesive messaging and maximum impact
- Manage and optimize event operations and logistics for a growing program
What Type of Events?
- Developer Conferences: Support our presence at major conferences (Rails World, KotlinConf, etc.) through planning compelling booth experiences, coordinating speaking opportunities, and managing satellite events
- Enterprise Trade-shows: Help maximize our impact at events like Google Next and AWS re:invent through logistics, sponsorship execution, and activation support
- Executive Engagement: Coordinate roadshows, executive dinners, and VIP experiences in collaboration with Sales
- AugmentConf: Help execute and scale our flagship user conference
- Developer Community: Assist in launching and managing developer meetups (both proprietary and via partners) in key markets
Operational Excellence
- Manage multi-million dollar event budget with a focus on ROI, efficiency, and cost optimization
- Implement scalable processes and systems for event planning, execution, and measurement
- Negotiate with vendors, venues, and partners to maximize value
- Ensure flawless execution across all touchpoints of the attendee journey
Required Experience
- 4–6+ years of event marketing experience
- Proven track record of building and scaling event programs at B2B software/developer tools companies
- Experience managing budgets of $2M+
- Deep understanding of the developer ecosystem and what resonates with technical audiences

The actual base salary within the stated range will be based on a combination of factors such as an individual's skills, experience level, educational background, and other relevant job-related considerations. Annual Base Salary Range$200,000 - $250,000USD
