Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and strategic National Account Manager – Mining to lead and grow key accounts within the mining sector across the country. This role is responsible for managing high-value clients, driving revenue growth, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of mining operations. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the mining industry and a proven track record of managing complex accounts at a national level.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and grow relationships with national and strategic mining accounts
  • Identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions in collaboration with product, service, and engineering teams
  • Drive sales growth through account planning, pipeline management, and value-added selling
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with revenue and margin targets
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders within mining companies
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver detailed business reviews and performance reports to both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams and field reps to ensure consistent customer engagement across geographies
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to represent the company

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mining, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of account management or sales experience in the mining or heavy industrial sector
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex accounts across multiple regions
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% of the time
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform strategic decisions
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check (including MVR) and drug test

Preferred Attributes


  • Technical understanding of mining processes and equipment
  • Experience working with OEMs, EPCs, or mining contractors
  • Strong network within the mining industry
