For 35+ years we’ve been providing innovative ticketing software solutions to some pretty cool industries including amusement parks, museums, attractions, zoos, and aquariums. We work with globally recognized destinations as well as lesser-known but locally loved attractions on six continents. Now, we are looking to add an experienced, Graphic and Multimedia Designer to our marketing team.
Position Summary:
The Graphic & Multimedia Designer is responsible for design and development of high-quality visual content that strengthens and protects the Gateway brand across all marketing channels. This role blends expertise in graphic design, video production, and basic photography to produce engaging assets for digital, print, and event marketing. The specialist will design materials for campaigns, trade shows, user events, the company website, and social media, while also supporting multimedia needs, including videos, photography, and animations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3–5 years of graphic design experience with exposure to video and photography production
Core Competencies:
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Premiere Pro/After Effects preferred)
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong creative, technical, and strategic design skills
- Basic photography and video shooting/editing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and brand consistency
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and keep accurate project records
Preferred but not required:
- Proficiency with WordPress or similar website platforms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
- Editing and proofreading skills
Essential Duties:
- Design marketing materials (digital and print) with a creative, brand-aligned approach that meets campaign objectives
- Create multimedia assets, including short videos, animations, and photo content, for marketing and internal projects
- Serve as the gatekeeper for Gateway’s Brand Standards, ensuring consistent application and helping evolve brand guidelines
- Collaborate with content creators on visual elements for social posts, blogs, videos, and other marketing collateral
- Produce trade show and user-event materials, including large-scale banners, signage, multimedia displays, and trade show booth layouts
- Design layouts and visuals for the company e-newsletter and marketing emails
- Manage and maintain the company’s photo and video library, including basic editing and organization
- Capture basic photography and video at events, product demos, and office activities as needed
- Design logos for events, campaigns, and new products
- Work with vendors for print and production needs
- Update and manage website content in WordPress and work with web vendors for improvements
- Assist with the management of contact databases and marketing lists in email and CRM tools
- Support lead generation efforts with visually engaging campaign assets
- Foster collaboration among marketing, product, and other teams to align on project goals and deliver strategic design solutions that support business goals
