Our mission is to build the next generation of AI: ubiquitous, interactive intelligence that runs wherever you are. Today, not even the best models can continuously process and reason over a year-long stream of audio, video and text—1B text tokens, 10B audio tokens and 1T video tokens—let alone do this on-device.
We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible. Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where we invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training efficient, large-scale foundation models. Role Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to help deliver a thoughtful, high-quality experience to every candidate who interacts with Cartesia. This is a foundational role on our Talent team and a great opportunity to help shape our hiring culture from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Own interview scheduling across all of our technical and non technical teams, as well as multiple time zones
- Act as the point of contact for candidates. This role requires you to deliver timely updates and a responsive candidate experience
- Coordinate onsite and virtual interview logistics, including travel and agendas
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep processes running smoothly
- Track candidates in our ATS and ensure data is accurate and up to date
- Help refine and document recruiting processes as we scale
- Support employer brand efforts, recruiting events, and candidate-facing communication
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or a similar recruiting operations role
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication — clear, friendly, and proactive
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with tools like ATS platforms (e.g. Ashby), Google Calendar, and Slack
- A team player who cares about people and candidate experience
- Bonus: experience in tech or early-stage startups, as well as recruiting operations experience
