Full-timeDescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering medium to large-scale technology deployments and managed service programs in the retail, distribution, and mobility sectors. This role ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer requirements and organizational standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, and vendor partners, driving successful deployment and lifecycle management of solutions across multiple retail locations or enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for multi-site technology rollouts.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Coordinate logistics for deployment activities, including staging, shipping, on-site installation, and testing.
- Coordinate planning for software project activities, including configuration requirements, access control, and testing.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison with customer stakeholders to communicate status, risks, and next steps.
- Facilitate project kickoffs, status meetings, and post-deployment reviews.
- Ensure a positive customer experience by managing expectations and proactively resolving issues.
- Operational Oversight
- Track and report on project performance, budget adherence, and KPIs.
- Partner with internal and external services teams to ensure smooth transition from deployment to ongoing support.
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks related to scheduling, logistics, technical dependencies, and resourcing.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately to leadership or customers.
- Team Leadership
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, service desk staff, and third-party vendors.
- Provide clear direction, set expectations, and foster accountability within the team.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in retail technology deployment, mobility solutions, or managed services.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, point-of-sale (POS), wireless/mobility solutions, and/or retail systems integration.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site, large-scale deployments with tight timelines.
- Experience managing budgets, project financials, and customer or vendor contracts.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., NetSuite Project, Smartsheet, MS Project, Monday, or similar).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification strongly desired.

Salary Description$95,000 to $125,000/year
