Full-timeDescriptionAn Integration Technician plays a pivotal role in bridging software, hardware, and technical systems to ensure seamless operation across platforms and products. Working closely with engineering, IT, and operations teams, Integration Technicians are responsible for assembling, installing, configuring, and maintaining complex systems, often in dynamic environments where precision and adaptability are essential. The role requires a combination of technical competence, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Bench, assemble, and configure system components including but not limited to Point-of-Sale systems, pin pads, back office PCs, and mobile devices (tablets and handhelds).Conduct comprehensive testing of systems to identify and resolve any errors or inconsistencies. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Coordinator and Integration Coordinator to document results and ensure compliance with customer standards.Diagnose and resolve technical issues in integrated systems swiftly and efficiently.Assist with the deployment of system updates, patches, and upgrades.
Evaluate new components or technologies to improve existing integrations.Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.Work closely with engineers, project managers and coordinators, and clients to ensure integration objectives are met.Follow organizational and industry best practices to ensure compliance with data security, privacy policies, and workplace safety standards.Identify process bottlenecks and recommend solutions for increased efficiency.Requirements
Qualifications
Previous experience as a technician, systems integrator, or in a technical support role is highly desirable.Familiarity with the integration of software and hardware systems, network configuration, and troubleshooting.Proficiency in working with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS.Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).Capability to use hand and power tools for hardware assembly.Able and willing to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.Work under minimal supervision.Climb steps or ladder to reach products.
