Check us outhere!Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Accurately reconcile various bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Categorize GL transactions with the proper account, department, and subsidiary coding. 
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams to obtain missing documentation, clarify coding issues, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the expense receipt management software (e.g., Expensify), ensuring receipt compliance and assisting with policy enforcement across departments.
  • Prepare and file monthly Sales Tax Returns.
  • Assist with A/P when necessary
  • Reconcile multi-company accounts and assist with financial reporting and timely month-end close procedures by the designated deadlines.
  • Record monthly journal entries and perform reconciliations of several General Ledger accounts, including cash, credit cards, prepaid expenses, and various accruals.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Research and resolve any discrepancies; book adjusting journal entries as needed.
  • Document recurring processes clearly and suggest improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, or automation where possible.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Controller.
  • Take proactive ownership of assigned tasks and collaborate with the accounting team to ensure deadlines are consistently met, particularly during close cycles and audit support.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
  • High proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas) is required.
  • 1-3 years of directly related accounting experience, with a rapidly-growing company is preferred. 
  • High proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas) is required.
  • Solid experience with GL reconciliations, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience using accounting software; knowledge of Netsuite and Expensify is a plus.
  • Superb accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented with a desire to consistently meet goals and deadlines. 
  • Highly accountable and organized, with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion to maintain confidentiality and privacy of operational and financial results.
  • Flexibility in hours as required for deliverable deadlines.

Salary Range:Min: $74,200Mid: $82,100Max: $90,900The pay range reflects the salary amount the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position. It is not a guarantee of actual compensation or a specific payment amount to any candidate.
