What You’ll Be Doing…
As a key member of our Industrial Motion Sales team, you will:
Strategic Relationship Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for distributor corporate leadership teams
- Lead joint business planning session and business reviews with distributor corporate teams
- Continuously review and implement steps to position Fenner as the first choice for service, quality and value.
- Build and maintain strong executive level relationships to influence category growth and strategic initiatives
Program Development & Execution
- Negotiate pricing, rebate structures, stocking agreements and promotional initiatives
- Develop and launch corporate programs, providing tools, timelines and targets to RSMs for regional execution
- Partner with RSMs to ensure consistent adoption of programs and initiatives at the regional and territory levels
Performance Management
- Monitor sales, branch penetration and product category adoption for each national account
- Identify underperforming regions or branches and collaborate with RSMs on corrective actions
- Track compliance with stocking agreements, pricing and promotional/marketing guidelines
- Prepare regular reports on business activities, sales trends and competitive insights for key stakeholder review
Salesforce & Data Management
- Build and manage SFDC campaigns to track sales initiatives by product and distributor
- Develop and maintain dashboard and reports to measure growth, penetration, and category performance by distributor
- Establish reporting cadence and KPIs for key distribution accounts
Planning & Forecasting
- Assist with forecasting, budgets and sales/operations planning related to assigned distributors
- Work with PMs and marketing to ensure the right selection of products meets distributor needs
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities within assigned distributors
- Share actionable insights with PMs, marketing and sales leadership
- Identify key expansion opportunities for organic growth and new market segments in conjunction with Marketing
- Maintain and Promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times.
What We’re Looking For…
We’re seeking a team member who:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in national account management, distribution sales management, or strategic account leadership.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic corporate relationships
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) to manage opportunities and track performance.
- Ability to analyze large sets of sales data and develop actionable growth strategies.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% across North America to meet with corporate partners and support regional execution.
