Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics group within the Data Information Systems organization. This role is ideal for an analytical professional with 1-2 years of experience who is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will support data-driven decision-making across the organization by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets.Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Create and maintain regular reports and dashboards for various stakeholders
- Perform statistical analysis and data modeling to support business objectives
- Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management and other departments
- Assist in data quality assessment and validation processes
- Support data integration projects and ensure data accuracy across systems
- Help maintain data documentation and metadata standards
- Develop clear and compelling data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand analytical requirements
- Translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient English communication skills (verbal and written)
- 1-2 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related role
- Proficient English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working in IT or software development environments
- Demonstrated experience working with large datasets
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables
- Experience with at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, or SAS)
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Understanding of statistical concepts and methods
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work with complex datasets and identify data quality issues
