Position:
Power Platform Solutions Architect – Navy Logistics
Overview:
ITC is seeking a highly skilled Software & Power Platform Solutions Architect to lead the design, integration, and delivery of secure, scalable Navy applications in support of the NAVAIR FMS Logistics Sustainment Services contract. You will serve as the senior technical lead, working closely with stakeholders to translate mission needs—especially in logistics, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and financial management—into modern, low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and deliver secure, scalable Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Pages, Power Automate, AI Builder, Power BI, Dataverse).
- Integrate solutions with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint Online, Dynamics 365, SQL, and third-party APIs.
- Work with ITC program leadership and Navy stakeholders to establish user requirements and development timelines.
- Translate Navy mission and business requirements into actionable, user-focused technical designs.
- Advise customers on platform capabilities, integration options, and solution trade-offs to support informed decision-making.
- Lead a team of developers using Agile methodology, to include backlog grooming, sprint planning, and iterative delivery with cross-functional teams.
- Apply DevSecOps best practices for secure development, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment in Azure DevOps.
- Establish governance, security standards, and compliance frameworks aligned with DoD cybersecurity and RMF requirements.
- Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and ensure long-term maintainability of solutions.
- Mentor team members in supported technical areas as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–10+ years in software development/architecture, with Microsoft Power Platform expertise.
- IAT Level II certification (Security+ preferred) or ability to obtain.
- Experience with Azure services, SharePoint, SQL Server, API/Web Service integrations.
- Familiarity with DoD security, compliance, and accreditation processes.
- Strong leadership skills in Agile/Scrum environments and mentoring development teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into business and customer-friendly terms.
- Ability to travel to the customer site/ITC office in Lexington Park, MD monthly.
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Object-Oriented Programming (ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML, JavaScript, Web APIs).
- Migration/refactoring of legacy systems to cloud or low-code platforms.
- Knowledge of Navy/DoD operations, logistics, FMS, or defense financial systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams integration, and enterprise collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with PEO Digital processes and procedures.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, relational database design, and data governance in compliance with DoD guidelines.
