Job Description: Mid-Level Imagery Analyst
The Mid-Level Imagery Analyst will interpret and analyze geospatial imagery to support DHS missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze satellite and aerial imagery for operational intelligence.
- Perform image classification, change detection, and feature extraction.
- Integrate imagery analysis with GIS datasets.
- Create imagery-based reports and briefings.
- Maintain imagery archives and metadata.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Remote Sensing, GIS, or related field.
- 4+ years of imagery analysis experience.
- 8+ years of experience required without a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Proficiency with ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of photogrammetry and image processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DHS imagery programs.
- Familiarity with LiDAR data analysis.
Security Clearance
- The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination, complete the Entry on Duty (EOD) process, and pass required background checks. U.S. citizenship is required.
