We are seeking a highly creative Marketing Designer (Graphic Designer with Marketing Coordinator duties) with strong visual communication skills to join our multi-brand marketing team and support our growing B2B marketing efforts across print and digital platforms.

This hands-on production role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with strong organization skills and experience creating assets that drive engagement and sales across industrial or manufacturing industries. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to design and deliver high-quality collateral, campaign assets, and branded content that align with business goals and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Production:

  • Design sales and marketing materials such as product flyers, brochures, catalogs, line cards, email graphics, newsletters and print ads.
  • Build, updates, and/or redesign multi-page catalogs (up to ~500 pages) using InDesign and leveraging automation tools such as GREP, styles, CSV and/or InCopy linking. Manage assets and coordinate proofing with knowledgeable team members.
  • Support visual needs for marketing campaigns including trade shows, events, product launches, inhouse video production, and promotions.
  • Create social media graphics, digital ad assets, and basic web graphics.
  • Design, create and/or edit existing product specification sheets, infographics, and B2B presentation materials.
  • Assist with resource creation for sales teams and execute specialty design projects with guidance from director of marketing:
  • Create structured templates for Word and PowerPoint to be used by sales teams and executive stakeholders;
  • Website landing page wireframes;
  • Icon and logo design;
  • Manipulation and/or creation of custom vector illustrations.
  • Design within brand guidelines, while contributing creative solutions to evolve the brands visually.
  • Understand and distinguish between the different audiences our marketing team creates material for (end users versus B2B versus corporate) and adjust visual styling within brands to accommodate each.

Marketing & Campaign Support:

  • Contribute to multi-channel marketing campaigns with platform-specific asset variations.
  • Design email graphics and campaign visuals using tools such as Klaviyo or HubSpot.
  • Optimize files for fast-loading, high-impact use across web, email, and digital ads.
  • Conduct creative visual research and generate moodboards.
  • Build visual proposals with support from director of marketing.
  • Research advertising rates and other information to inform marketing campaigns.
  • Own content follow-through and accuracy, including technical product details, grammar, spelling, case-sensitivity, and overall tone of messaging with guidance from team members.

Brand Asset & File Management:

  • Maintain organized asset libraries and templates across multiple brands.
  • Use strict file naming conventions, cloud systems, and FTP tools to support efficient asset management.
  • Manage and update brand assets within platforms such as PIMs, DAMs, swag stores, and digital catalog systems.

Communication & Execution:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product and sales teams, and outside vendors to gather accurate information.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via professional email, digital meeting, and voice call interactions.
  • Proactively solve incomplete or unclear project requests by asking follow-up questions or validating content, either through marketing team or by reaching out directly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and edit designs for alignment with project brief, brand guidelines, design hierarchy, and CTA effectiveness.

Nature of Your Workday:

  • This is a remote role. It has no regular in-office requirements, but you will need to be able to regularly attend digital meetings and collaborative discussions.
  • You will be expected to maintain a regular work schedule that allows at least 4 working hours’ overlap with the rest of the team (M–F, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central time).
  • Day-to-day work will largely be independent and self-directed based on assigned tasks and “big picture” projects, but conducted under the guidance of the Director of Marketing.
  • Weekly digital team meetings and open-door leadership policies ensure on-demand access to fellow creatives and assistance with or clarification on assigned tasks.
  • We expect at least half your weekly work (on average) to be fast-paced, hands-on design production, with ideation, content validation, asset management, communication, and marketing support duties to make up the remainder of your work hours.
  • The mix of duties on any given day will vary significantly by season and over time; our marketing team is newly restructured and in the process of creating a lot of first-time material and significant redesigns. We’re also in the process of developing team documentation, so the right person for this role must be flexible and adaptive.
