Your Role in the Team
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the friendly, knowledgeable face that customers rely on. From processing foreign exchange transactions to spotting and preventing fraud, you’ll ensure that every interaction builds trust and loyalty.
What You’ll Do
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle foreign exchange transactions for our customers.
- Ensure Compliance: Verify documentation to meet legal and regulatory standards.
- Manage Balances: Maintain and reconcile your own stock to ensure accuracy.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with foreign exchange rates, ICFX system updates, and regulatory changes.
- Champion the Brand: Uphold Mukuru’s brand standards in every customer interaction.
- Grow Your Skills: Take ownership of your professional and self-development.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
Experience:
- 1 year in a customer service consultant role (Essential)
- Foreign exchange experience (Desirable)
Knowledge:
- Foreign currencies, FICA regulations, exchange control regulations, ICFX system
Skills:
- Computer literacy
- Telephone communication
- Organisational & administrative abilities
- Attention to detail
