POSITION PURPOSE
The Leader- Data, Analytics & Business Intelligence leads the enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring data is a trusted, accessible, and actionable asset across the organization. This role oversees data governance, architecture, analytics, business intelligence, automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can align data capabilities with business priorities, drive innovation, and foster a culture of data literacy and accountability.Direct Reports:Manager – Data SolutionsDirector – Analytics & Decision Support
ACCOUNTABILITIES & PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Define and execute a comprehensive enterprise data strategy aligned with ITA Group’s business goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on data-driven opportunities and risks.
- Build and lead a high-performing team across analytics, engineering, governance, and AI/ML.
- Champion a culture of data literacy, ethical data use, and continuous improvement.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, policies, and stewardship models.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and internal security standards.
- Promote data quality, integrity, and ethical use across all business units.
Data Architecture & Integration
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, on-prem and cloud-based data platforms and pipelines.
- Ensure seamless integration of data from internal and external sources to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to modernize legacy systems and enable real-time data access.
Data Preparation & Automation
- Develop and implement data preparation processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Leverage automation and orchestration tools to streamline data workflows and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data readiness for AI, automation, analytics and reporting.
Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Lead the development of advanced analytics and BI capabilities to deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business leaders to define KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Promote self-service analytics and data democratization through training and enablement.
AI & Machine Learning
- Drive the adoption of AI/ML technologies to enhance forecasting, personalization, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Shared Services AI Consultants to identify, pilot, and scale AI use cases.
- Ensure responsible and ethical AI practices, including transparency, fairness, and accountability.
LEADER ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Review candidates for areas of responsibility, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions based on input from People & Culture. Submit Personnel Requisitions, Employment Information forms and other necessary documents in accordance with People & Culture and Business Management System procedures.
- Administer the annual review process, including writing or revising position descriptions, preparing performance evaluation responses and/or conducting appraisal conferences and making appropriate salary recommendations.
- Maintain confidentiality on all matters pertaining to company business and personnel issues.
- Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Implement corporate initiatives and formulate defined objectives to support enterprise or business unit goals.
- Set budgets; monitor and control expenses.
- Track and report scorecard results to senior leaders.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in data strategy, analytics, and governance, with at least five years in a leadership role.
- Experience in professional services, marketing, or engagement-focused industries is a plus.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise data transformations and building high-performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of data platforms, tools, and technologies.
- Experience with both on-prem and cloud data ecosystems and modern data architectures.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and tools.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business value.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how data drives customer and operational value.
- Ability to listen, understand, and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred.
- Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects or meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding salary and personnel issues.
