SUMMARY
Fujitsu Frontech/Fulcrum Biometrics is seeking a results-oriented individual for our team. The successful candidate will possess a professional and take-charge style with the motivation to meet and exceed expectations. The Supply Chain Specialist oversees key aspects of the company's supply chain, from identifying reliable suppliers and optimizing inventory levels to coordinating transportation logistics, and interacting with customers regarding order status, etc. Responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, and adjusting inventory plans based on demand forecasts.

Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to;
- Identifies reliable suppliers and maintains relationships to secure optimal terms and pricing.
- Monitors supplier performance and compliance with contracts, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards.
- Develops and implements effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stockouts or overstocks.
- Conducts regular inventory analysis and creates reports to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommends appropriate action.
- Coordinates transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, managing freight costs, and tracking delivery schedules.
- Works closely with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize delivery routes and transit times.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events.
- Adjusts inventory plans accordingly to meet changing demand patterns and seasonal fluctuations.
- Ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to supply chain operations.
- Develops and implements risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Uses QuickBooks to track and issue purchase orders, track inventory, expenses, and sales.
- Responsible for the 3-way match process to ensure the accuracy of the item(s) or service(s) received and invoice against purchase order and enter vendor invoices in QuickBooks.
- Approves orders on net term customer ensuring that the customer is not overdue on payment and does not exceed credit limits.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports order fulfillment process as needed by processing orders, packing products, and shipping them to customers.
- Processes customer credit applications, ensuring that all documents related to the application are submitted to perform background checks.
- Assists with non-standard customer sales transactions.
- Manages customer records which involve tracking the purchase history of customers, storing vendor contact information, and managing vendor’s feedback.
- Generates reports on customer support activities which may be used to track customer trends, identify areas for improvement, or provide data to other departments.
- Manages software licenses which involves tracking the expiration dates of licenses, renewing licenses, or deactivating licenses.
- Adheres to company policies, safety, and quality.
- Supports continual improvement efforts.
- Acts as back up for Order Fulfillment, various duties including but not limited to writing orders for the Warehouse to pack and final verification of product and paperwork required to complete the shipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or in a similar role, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and customs clearance is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in business administration or similar. In lieu of degree, must demonstrate at least 3 years in an administrative assistant type role and have at least 2 years’ experience with supply chain.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Demonstrate ability to effectively use computer and applicable computer software and have the aptitude to learn operation of other computer systems. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and other commonly used applications software is preferred.Experience with Shipping software required, especially UPS WorldShip and FedEx.com.Experience with ERP systems preferred, experience with QuickBooks a plus.
