Our executive team is comprised of former founders and senior leaders at fast-rising startups like Shazam, TrueCar, AdapTV, and LiveRail and larger, more established tech companies like Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Yahoo. We are looking for a “hunter” sales rep to work as part of the Client Development team to drive new business growth at Tatari.
As a Client Development Manager, you will be integral to all stages of the sales cycle from initial strategy and pipeline generation to deal negotiation and close. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of both the TV advertising industry coupled with previous sales experience at a media or adtech company.
Responsibilities:
- Drive leads, grow the pipeline, push deal progression, and meet sales quotas.
- Focus on acquiring clients that are doing at least $20M in ARR, helping them transition or expand into TV advertising.
- Work closely with the Client Services and Media Buying teams to strategically support account growth.
- Be part of a new initiative within the company, creating opportunities for personal and business growth.
- Understand the mindset of performance/growth marketers in order to deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to prospects.
- Assess team processes, identify improvements, and implement changes.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to prospects.
- Negotiate terms with decision-makers and executives.
- Effectively communicate with Client Development leadership regarding pipeline, activities, customer needs, and other business opportunities
- Use your industry knowledge to identify how Tatari’s proprietary measurement can enhance the business goals of performance marketers.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in B2B performance advertising sales (preferably linear or CTV)
- Demonstrated past success achieving revenue objectives
- Fundamental knowledge of data analytics. Ability to tell a story with data, and clearly communicate technical terms and concepts
- Experience in TV, Media, or AdTech (preferred)
- High motor to keep pace with fast moving clients to quickly grow the business
- Strong sense of ownership, self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as fostering a collaborative environment
- Experience with CRM software is a plus (we use Hubspot)
- Bachelor’s degree required
