What We're Looking For
6+ years of backend engineering experience with functional programming languages (Elixir/Erlang strongly preferred)Database expertise at scale - You understand how to design, optimize, and troubleshoot relational databases handling high-volume trafficDistributed systems mastery - You know microservice patterns inside and out, including when to use them and when not toConcurrency comfort - You've wrestled with the challenges of distributed programming and know how to build systems that stay consistent under pressureProduction mindset - You've debugged complex issues across multiple services and know what it takes to keep systems running smoothly
