Role Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong technical mindset to join our team, working on both backend and data-related projects. In this role, you’ll be managing initiatives that improve our platform’s core systems, APIs, and integrations. You don’t need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable understanding complex backend logic so you can follow technical discussions, ask the right questions, and provide meaningful input.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full lifecycle of backend and data-related projects - from planning and scoping to delivery and post-release evaluation
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Product, Data, and Operations teams
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear project plans with defined deliverables and timelines
- Identify risks, manage dependencies, and proactively resolve blockers
- Monitor progress and communicate updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in an IT environment
- Strong understanding of backend systems and logic (able to follow and contribute to technical conversations)
- Experience working closely with backend engineers and technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or similar project management methodologies
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence
Nice to Have
- Background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field (formal or practical experience)
- Experience in online marketplace, delivery, or grocery/retail sectors
- Prior work in distributed, international teams
