Summary
Supervisor of Residential Services (SRS) leads their team of Residential Service Coordinators towards the common goal of serving our population with resources to end their homelessness. The SRS ensures their staff are utilizing the tools that are provided to successfully complete their assigned duties to maintain program compliance. The SRS will help recruit and retain staff, ensuring they are providing efficient and satisfactory service to the clients in the program.
Essential Functions
- Recruits, recommends candidates for hire, and manages Residential Services Coordinators I and II.
- Conducts trainings
- Assigns tasks and monitors work performance.
- Writes and delivers performance appraisals; recommends salary actions
- Recommends and administers disciplinary action; Recommends termination of employees, and engages and retains a high performing, accountable workforce.
- Enters and updates client-specific data in a database ensuring minimum error rating in compliance with grant funding
- Provides client-specific referrals and resources based on need (e.g. medical, housing, employment, etc.).
- Conducts client living area inspections to support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living space.
- Collaborates with colleagues to address any concerns or barriers to client success in a solution-focused manner.
- Acts as/Assigns a ‘Buddy” for onboarding of new recruits and models program expectations
- Monitors program outcomes as it relates to their team’s work ensuring data accuracy and efficiency
- Ensures a welcoming, safe, inclusive, culturally sensitive living environment for the clients living in the program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- At least two (2) years Social Service Experience
- At least one (1) year of leadership experience to include training and performance management, counseling and retaining an engaged and accountable workforce.
- Basic user of MS Office.
- Participate in an annual Tuberculosis screening and/or other screenings when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be granted where appropriate.
The pay rate for this role is based on several factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The initial offer usually falls between the minimum and midpoint of the applicable salary range.
