About the Role


Ramp is scaling rapidly—with a growing global footprint and evolving employee needs that span borders, systems, and compliance frameworks. We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on People Operations Manager to lead our People Operations team.In this role, you’ll drive critical programs that power global employment, oversee the systems and processes that support a seamless employee experience, and lead the team that keeps our operations running smoothly.You’ll own essential People Operations pillars—immigration, benefits, compliance, onboarding, offboarding, and more—and partner closely with leaders across People, Legal, Recruiting, Finance, and more to scale the infrastructure that supports Ramp’s next phase of growth.

What You'll Do


  • Lead and manage Ramp’s People Operations team, directly overseeing two team members while setting direction, driving team execution, and coaching for growth.
  • Own end-to-end program management across core global employment areas, including:
  • Onboarding & offboarding: Design and execute consistent, high-quality employee lifecycle experiences.
  • Benefits & leaves: Run global benefits and leave programs that are competitive, compliant, and employee-centric.
  • Immigration: Manage Ramp’s immigration processes and vendor partnership to support mobility and hiring of global talent.
  • Compliance: Ensure global employment practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Data governance: Drive rigorous people data update processes and partner on audits, governance, and data hygiene.
  • Help own our employee "help desk": to ensure employees and People team members receive timely, accurate support with a focus on quality, experience, and automation.
  • Partner with our People Tech team to drive operational improvements by implementing processes and tools that streamline workflows, reduce manual work, and improve employee experiences.

What You Need


  • 7+ years of experience in People Operations or HR program management, preferably in a fast-growing, global organization.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and programs that span complex, cross-functional domains.
  • Strong systems fluency across HRIS, benefits platforms, immigration tools, and global employment vendors.
  • Experience managing and scaling global operations, with familiarity in international compliance and employment practices.
  • Excellent project management and execution skills—you know how to drive from chaos to clarity, deliver in fast-paced environments, and adapt as things evolve.
  • A process- and documentation-obsessed mindset—you take pride in building systems that scale and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • A people-first perspective—you care deeply about the employee experience and know how to design with empathy and rigor.
  • Tech-savvy and excited about building operational leverage through automation, tools, and AI-enabled workflows.
