The Role


As a Sales Engineering Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in solving meaningful problems, driving outcomes, and contributing directly to Solink’s growth. You'll collaborate across teams and be trusted to take ownership - because we believe great ideas come from everywhere.This is an opportunity for someone who’s energized by challenge, fast learning, and making a real impact.

What You’ll Do


  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Enterprise, Commercial, and International Sales Engineers through weekly 1:1s, structured feedback, ongoing coaching, and performance tracking.
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Sales Leadership and AEs to refine discovery processes, solution design, and demo delivery, ensuring SE engagement drives revenue, deal velocity, and quality.
  • Assist the SE team by reviewing and approving technical scopes of work for complex deployments, safeguarding feasibility and customer success.
  • Host weekly team syncs, facilitate knowledge sharing, and provide ad-hoc strategic support on high-value opportunities.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for strategic deals and cross-functional blockers, collaborating with Product, Deployment, and Support to resolve challenges.
  • Define, refine, and implement scalable SE processes tailored to the unique needs of Enterprise, Commercial, and International segments.
  • Foster deep vertical alignment and consultative engagement across diverse industries, adapting strategies to varied sales cycles and decision-making structures.

What You Bring


Must-Have:


  • Proven track record of leadership in a pre-sales environment, with a minimum of 2 years managing Enterprise SEs or equivalent technical sales teams.
  • Over 5 years of Enterprise Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture experience in a SaaS environment, influencing complex deals through consultative technical engagement.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for both executive and technical audiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Customer-first mindset, balancing technical precision with commercial outcomes.

Nice-to-Have:


  • Experience in the security, video surveillance, loss prevention, or POS technology sectors.
  • Background in scale-up or high-growth companies, with demonstrated success in building processes for scalability.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, Google Workspace, and Slack in a sales engineering context.
  • Exposure to international markets and multi-vertical sales motions.

  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
  • Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.
