Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies and architectures for complex software systems.
- Lead the definition and implementation of automation frameworks, tools, and best practices across various projects.
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to ensure testability, identify risks, and optimize testing efforts.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- Define and maintain quality metrics and reporting mechanisms.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with at least 3 years in a Test Architect or similar leadership role.
- Deep understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, performance, security, integration, regression).
- Extensive experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end testing solutions for large-scale applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
