We, a long-standing and respected mid-sized Seattle law firm with a collaborative, close-knit culture, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support their busy litigation practice. This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced legal support professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, organization, and client service.

What You’ll Do as the Litigation Legal Assistant:


  • File legal documents in Washington state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with applicable rules
  • Manage non-billable litigation support tasks, including client intake, conflict checks, and file creation
  • Schedule depositions, meetings, and coordinate related logistics
  • Maintain attorneys’ calendars and contact lists in Outlook
  • Draft, organize, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
  • Uphold confidentiality while managing sensitive client and case information

Must-Haves as the Litigation Legal Assistant:


  • 5+ years of litigation legal assistant or secretary experience MINIMUM in Washington State (King County preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Washington court rules and filing procedures
  • Exceptional spelling, grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Legal Assistant:


  • Experience with client intake and conflict check processes
  • Comfort working in a lower-tech environment with a shared drive system
