Litigation Legal Assistant

We, a long-standing and respected mid-sized Seattle law firm with a collaborative, close-knit culture, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support their busy litigation practice. This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced legal support professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, organization, and client service.

What You’ll Do as the Litigation Legal Assistant:

File legal documents in Washington state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with applicable rules
Manage non-billable litigation support tasks, including client intake, conflict checks, and file creation
Schedule depositions, meetings, and coordinate related logistics
Maintain attorneys’ calendars and contact lists in Outlook
Draft, organize, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
Uphold confidentiality while managing sensitive client and case information

Must-Haves as the Litigation Legal Assistant:

5+ years of litigation legal assistant or secretary experience MINIMUM in Washington State (King County preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong knowledge of Washington court rules and filing procedures
Exceptional spelling, grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Legal Assistant:

Experience with client intake and conflict check processes
Comfort working in a lower-tech environment with a shared drive system
