About Your Role


We’re looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) with expertise in Kubernetesto join our team. This is a hands-on, highly visible role where you’ll combine your technical skills, storytelling ability, and marketing instincts to create and deliver world-class technical content that inspires architects, platform engineers, and developers to adopt Calico. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product management, sales engineering, and the Calico community to understand new features, build compelling demos, and translate complex capabilities into clear, actionable value for our prospects and customers.

  • You’ll be a visible voice in the Kubernetes and cloud-native community, representing the most widely adopted Kubernetes networking and security solution.
  • You’ll have creative freedom to experiment with content formats—from hands-on demos to short social videos to deep-dive technical blogs.
  • You’ll work with a passionate, knowledgeable team that values technical excellence and authentic storytelling.

You Will


Create & Deliver Best-in-Class Technical Content

  • Produce technical blogs, reference architectures, demo scripts, and workshop materials that showcase Calico’s capabilities.
  • Build engaging demos and trainings that highlight real-world use cases for Kubernetes networking and security.
  • Develop technical enablement assets for Sales Engineers to support product launches.

Be the Face of Calico in the Community

  • Present at webinars, meetups, and conferences (including KubeCon) to educate and inspire technical audiences.
  • Engage actively on platforms likeLinkedIn, X (Twitter), Reddit, and Dev.to, sharing high-quality content and participating in conversations where Kubernetes architects and developers gather.
  • Work closely with Customers and the Calico open-source community, listening to feedback, learning how users solve problems, and sharing those insights internally.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Partner with product management and engineering to understand new features in depth and bring them to market effectively.
  • Enable sales engineers with the right technical narratives, demos, and proof points to close deals.
  • Share field and community learnings with customer success and product teams to inform roadmap priorities.

You Have


  • Demonstrated ability to create technical content for developers, platform engineers, and architects.
  • Public speaking and technical presentation experience (e.g., webinars, meetups, conferences).
  • Ability to break down complex technical concepts into clear, engaging stories.

Nice-To-Have


  • Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate content creation and idea generation.
  • Background in producing engaging, high-fidelity demo environments.
  • Prior contributions to open-source communities, ideally in the Kubernetes ecosystem.
