Position Summary
The IT Senior Systems Administrator ensures department success in a fast-paced environment by identifying and remediating escalated and complex issues relating to information technology. This position is also responsible for identifying and driving system improvements.Department support and project work is the primary responsibility of the IT Senior Systems Administrator. The IT Senior Systems Administrator supports infrastructure improvement and mentorship of team members located in multiple locations on a variety information technology practices.
All requests for assistance will be recorded and responded to via the helpdesk ticketing system.

Education & Skill Requirements
- Minimum five years systems administration or architecture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of explaining complex procedures both verbally and written.
- Comfortable approaching users to understand their requirements.
- Ability to work and solve problems independently, on a team, and under the direction of IT management.
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Able to read and understand schematics, signal flow diagrams, and architectural drawings.
- Expert knowledge of current technology and trends in the information technology field.
- Able to research, evaluate and recommend solutions based on an analysis of department needs and existing infrastructure.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Able to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks to appropriate IT support staff.
- Able to mentor, aid and coach junior colleagues.

Pay Range: $65,000-75,000K
