About the Role


As a Senior Web Designer at Salesloft, you will be a key player in shaping our digital story. You will lead the design of our web presence, creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and effective websites that tell the Salesloft story and drive our marketing efforts. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of marketers, developers, and product managers to translate our brand and business goals into compelling digital experiences.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the design and implementation of new web pages and user interfaces, from concept to final hand-off to engineering/web dev.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off, ensuring a high standard of quality and brand consistency.
  • Conduct lite user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and optimize the user experience.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.

SKILLS


  • 5+ years of experience in web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in HTML, ContentStack, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Expertise in standard UI/UX software such as Sketch, Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A solid understanding of user-centered design and usability principles.
  • Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color, and layout.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend your design decisions to stakeholders.

Bonus Points


  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Experience with A/B testing and other user research methods.

THE SKILL SET:


  • 3 - 5 yrs experience as a UX Designer, Web Designer, or Interactive Designer
  • BA/BS degree or other relevant experience
  • Analytical mind with proven ability to dissect problems, implement best practices, and devise solutions to drive business outcomes
  • Obsessive attention to detail to achieve pixel perfection
  • Fluency in Google Analytics and web tracking tools
  • Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Design experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Invision, etc.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work on many projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Effective communication skills to convey design choices and insights to non-experts
  • An understanding of tradeoffs from web engineering implementation practices
  • Knowledge of quality assurance/quality control processes
  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
