Join us to shape the future of virtual experiences.CloudShare is seeking a talented and experienced Backend Software Developer to help design, scale, and maintain our cutting-edge virtualization and cloud orchestration platform.
In this role, you’ll develop the backend services that power our global cloud infrastructure, delivering high-performance, reliable solutions to customers worldwide.We’re looking for innovators who want to influence, build, learn, and deliver exceptional software. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the next generation of our highly scalable virtualization and cloud orchestration platform.
- Solve complex technical challenges and continuously improve the backend architecture.
- Write clean, scalable, and reliable code, ensuring high quality and functionality.
- Deliver high-quality features to production.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience as a Software Engineer in an IDF technological unit.
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with hands-on production experience working in the backend side of complex systems.
- Experience with server-side technologies, specifically Python.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structure choices, and performance trade-offs.
- Understanding of containers (Docker) and orchestration tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services - advantage.
- Good knowledge of SQL and ORM frameworks - advantage.
- Familiarity with Multithreading / distributed computing.
- A curious mindset focused on learning and deeply understanding the underlying technologies, tools, and frameworks you use.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
