This hybrid role blends community engagement with sales-focused outreach, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a people-first environment while also being motivated by results.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Members across digital platforms including chat rooms, and livestream community and ensure a welcoming, informative experience
- Provide first-class support and service through our multiple chat channels within our services
- Manage live chat sales conversations and follow-up calls with interested leads or prospects
- Maintain an efficient workflow during our fast-paced live events in which we are demoing, and sometimes promoting a special deal to join our products
- Convert inbound interest into upgraded memberships through consultative, value-driven conversations
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional services based on Member needs
- Identify any technical issues, or user experience improvements to report to the proper teams
- Collect and organize feedback from Members to share with internal teams
- Write updates, or short communications to support Member experience
- Monitor and moderate digital community channels to ensure productive, brand-aligned conversations
- Updating the live chat rooms with banner ads, and promotional messages to make sure members are up to date and informed of any news, or schedule changes as they arise
Ideal Candidate
You’re a natural communicator who thrives on connection. You enjoy helping others, know how to read between the lines in a conversation, and have a soft-sell approach that feels more like service than sales. You’re organized, proactive, and not afraid to pick up the phone or jump into a group chat.You don’t need a finance background to succeed here, but curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential. Having an understanding and an interest in trading, the stock market and our products is a strong plus.
If you’ve worked in sales, customer service, hospitality, or community management, you’ll fit right in.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or digital community engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable handling chat-based sales conversations and member issues/questions
- Ability to multitask across platforms while maintaining professionalism
- Friendly, courteous, and adaptable in tone and approach
- Strong interest in the stock market and financial world
- Based in or willing to commute to Baltimore (hybrid work schedule)
Compensation Range –
$50,000 - $60,000
Location(s) & Work Arrangement –
Mount Vernon, Baltimore / Hybrid
