The Operations team at Upside is a diverse group of team-oriented individuals who are committed to our mission of helping communities thrive. The Merchant Operations team works cross-functionally to get locations live on the platform and tries to make our product even better for our merchants every day. We value a supportive work environment where we can learn from our mistakes while we tackle the ever-changing challenges that come with supporting a fast-growing business!As a Data Operations Analyst, you'll drive company success by:

  • Communicating effectively across levels and departments through strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Interacting comfortably with merchants and external partners
  • Collaborating with project managers, system health, and engineering to ensure effective cross-project communication and issue management
  • Participating actively in process improvement initiatives to enable operational efficiency
  • Assessing existing practices, identifying deficiencies and gaps, and creating plans to remediate
  • Thoroughly documenting processes and exceptions

Competencies You'll Need:


  • 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of data integration and normalization
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to think creatively to approach problem-solving
  • Comfortability with external partner communications
  • Deadline driven, self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask

Location:


This hybrid role is based in our DC or NYC office. In-office attendance is required on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and may increase based on project-based needs and changes to Upside’s in-office policy over time.

Compensation:


The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $115,000 + equity + benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
