Sales Systems Analyst

Pendo is looking for a
Sales Systems Analyst to join the Sales Operations team, supporting our Sales organization and broader go-to-market teams by leveraging your systems expertise to design both standard and creative solutions and lead impactful projects. This role focuses on scalable improvements across the entire revenue lifecycle — from automated lead routing and opportunity management to product configuration and downstream processes.The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker and problem solver with strong communication skills and technical curiosity.

Role Responsibilities


  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Marketing teams in leading global Sales Operations projects
  • Partner with Sales Operations Business Partner Managers to understand Sales requirements, process and tool enhancements needed by segment
  • Captures, analyzes, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, using data and information from various sources
  • Translate business needs into detailed, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for technical implementation
  • Own and manage the systems enhancement backlog, setting clear expectations with stakeholders and leading roadmap alignment
  • Autonomously review requests, proactively identify process and system inefficiencies, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend and implement best practice solutions
  • Implement AI tools to help the revenue team work more skillfully. These tools will make their jobs easier, save time, and uncover insights to boost productivity and outcomes.
  • Lead AI adoption initiatives within GTM Operations to enable revenue team success - identify high-impact use cases, pilot relevant tools, and partner closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation, training, and value realization
  • Participate in the testing and deployment of day to day configuration changes in Salesforce and other tools
  • Support change management and enablement process

Minimum Qualifications


  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting revenue or go-to-market teams
  • Experience working in Agile environments, with comfort documenting user stories, managing backlogs, and collaborating across teams
  • Have knowledge of Sales & Support systems, but also develop a deep knowledge of Pendo’s sales processes
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, open office, dynamic environment with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Manages time skillfully and adapts quickly to shifting priorities
  • Proactive individual who seeks complex assignments
  • Demonstrates a solid learning mindset, sharp attention to detail, and a consistently positive, solutions-oriented approach in a dynamic environment
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Lightning
  • Experience or robust interest in applying AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance sales system performance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) software or other comparable solutions tools that support deal execution workflows
  • Experience with third party tools: Jira, Confluence, LeanData, ZoomInfo, Outreach and other sales tools is a plus

Compensation


Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.The expected base salary range for this role in the following locations is: San Francisco Bay Area, CA - $73,000 - $92,000Raleigh, NC - $64,000 - $80,000Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.#LI-Hybrid #LI-FB1
