JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the company’s compliance program, including regulatory affairs, consumer protection, and internal governance. This senior leader will ensure that the company remains compliant with all applicable federal and state lending laws, rules, and regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Design, implement, and manage a robust, risk-based corporate compliance program.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance and regulatory matters across the organization.
- Provide guidance on regulatory risks and proactively identify potential areas of vulnerability or exposure.
- Manage relationships with bank program partners including their federal and state regulators (e.g., FDIC, Federal Reserve, CFPB, state banking departments).
- Lead regulatory examinations, audits, and responses, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and translate developments into practical business guidance.
- Develop, review, and maintain company-wide compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with business units to embed compliance into operational processes and decision-making.
- Develop and deliver ongoing compliance training and awareness programs for employees and leadership.
- Communicate clearly and effectively about compliance risks, policies, and regulatory changes.
- Establish compliance monitoring, testing, and reporting mechanisms to assess adherence and identify gaps.
- Provide regular reports and risk assessments to executive leadership, the Board, and bank program partners.
- Build and lead a high-performing compliance and regulatory affairs team.
- Foster a culture of compliance, ethics, and accountability across all levels of the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Juris Doctor is required and must be in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or Texas.
- 10+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within financial services, fintech, or banking.
- Deep knowledge of federal and state consumer lending laws and regulations (e.g., FCRA, TILA, FDCPA, UDAAP).
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and leading regulatory examinations.

This role is in-office. Remote work may be performed from a pre-approved location, as arranged, and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
