JOB SUMMARY:


Integrate software into test suites, primarily Virtual servers; develop site and event specific configurations to support test, war games, and exercise events. Operate and troubleshoot systems during test events. Work with external National Team (CLAW) personnel to resolve test lab issues; work with Operations and Sustainment as well as Level-II support personnel to resolve installation and processing issues. Create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files; perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data; troubleshoot both test and operational issues; document test results and prepare test status documentation.

Author Spiral and build-level test plan documents and procedures; create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues. Assist software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues; develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to test in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities. Plan and lead integration tests with external elements and sensors; review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, test, network documents as necessary. Attend meetings with other FAs, customers, etc., and represent the Integration team Position is based in Colorado Springs at the MDIOC but sometimes multi-week travel to customer sites and contractor sites (e.g., Huntsville, HWY83) may be required. Ability to travel is a requirement. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Must be a self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Able to cooperatively develop integration plans/procedures from sources such as functional/performance requirements and stated technical capabilities, monitor the integration of the test resources, execute these detailed integration procedures, analyze integration results, and present the results verbally and in written format.
  • Able to work effectively and cooperatively with people within and external to the program, and must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in troubleshooting of small to large scale infrastructure 

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Knowledge of or minimal skill with Systems Integration and System/Software Testing, including virtualized environments.
  • Hands-on skill with LINUX/UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding of the software development process, from requirements to final product deployment 

EDUCATION:

BA/BS in Engineering/Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Full Time/ On-Site in Colorado Springs, CO

CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT: 

Active Secret Clearance 

DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT:

Active IAT-Level II (Security Plus certification or equivalent) required at start
SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $145,000Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.Estimated Pay Range$120,000 - $145,000USD
