We’re looking for a Ward Clerk in San Francisco who’s sharp, organized, and calm under pressure. This job’s all about keeping the healthcare team moving—clean records, scheduled appointments, stocked supplies, and smooth communication with residents and staff.
What You’ll Do
Keep medical charts updated and organized (both paper and digital)Schedule and coordinate medical appointments (and help remind residents)Support COVID screenings and vitals checksTrack and restock medical supplies and resident itemsHandle admissions paperwork and monthly chart maintenanceAnswer phones, relay messages, and greet visitorsSupport caregivers when needed (call lights, basic care)Maintain HIPAA and privacy standards at all timesTake part in drills and health/safety programsCopy, file, label, email—basic admin support
What You Need
CNA certificate from a state-approved schoolExperience in a healthcare setting preferredComfortable with medical terms, computers, and data entryAble to follow written and spoken instructionsGood phone and in-person communicationAble to multitask and solve basic problemsMust pass a physical exam and TB testMust get BLS/CPR certified within 6 months (renew every 2 years)DOJ fingerprint clearance required
