Job Summary:eQuip (a division of AssetWorks USA, Inc.) develops and implements asset management solutions for defense manufacturers and others with complex asset tracking and compliance needs.


We seek a technically-minded Operations Director who will roll up their sleeves and lead from the trenches. As the CEO’s deputy leader, the Operations Director will lead our Professional Services/Implementation team. The ideal candidate is passionate about using analytical skills to identify problems, find solutions, and improve relationships.The Operations Director will lead our Professional Services/Implementation team. The role’s key responsibility is overseeing the delivery of high-quality implementation services to our clients, ensuring seamless transitions to our software solutions.

Intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge is a must for this role.

Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the Professional Services/Implementation team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the implementation process and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, track KPIs, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet project timelines and budget requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the implementation process.
  • Utilize intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge to assist in data analysis and reporting for project implementations.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of implementation or services delivery experience, typically requiring a BA/BS degree (development and delivery of custom products/software in a client-facing role is also acceptable)
  • Ability to quickly learn the ins and outs of software applications.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in project management with the ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals.
  • Proven ability to lead customer engagements with a strong ownership mentality and willingness to take action.
  • Ability to handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Perform work under minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites when required by project scope.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in the use of the MS Office Suite.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS SQL and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and related technologies.
  • Experience using Jira for project tracking and workflow management.
