Lead RF Microwave Engineer

ReachRedwood City, California, United StatesOnsite
At Reach, we are delivering technologies to enable the long-range, wireless transfer of power. We believe wireless energy can be as liberating for power systems as WiFi was for data systems, and are busy creating the energy infrastructure that will one day replace the aging electrical grid. We have raised funding from top tier VC's, have real world customers deploying our technology, and are continuing to build out the exceptional team that is making our vision a reality.

The Position

This role will position you as a key leader on Reach’s radio frequency engineering team. As a Lead RF Microwave Engineer, you will technically drive a key section of Reach’s RF engineering team and develop state of the art systems that are integral to Reach’s wireless power beaming capability. Your technical know-how and innovation skills are key to designing cutting edge products in a fast-paced environment. You will lead other engineers to design, simulate and implement power amplifiers and other components and subsystems at microwave frequencies.

This position requires system thinking and strong hands-on expertise in developing distributed-element components and using components such as power transistors, PLLs transmission lines, splitters, filters, and integration with antenna arrays for a complex first of its kind system. As a lead in a small company, you will have a great deal of agency over your work, plenty of opportunity to discover and solve new challenges, and the ability to make large-impact decisions.

This leads to reduced conversion rates, longer process time and frustrated customers.\n\nREACH's platform has created an entirely new category that allows firms to deliver the instant digital experiences their customers demand. The platform helps companies instantly collect e-signatures, e-forms, documents & IDs, in either a real-time session or a customer self-service mode. It utilizes the full range of mobile device capabilities to execute all those actions instantly, making business transactions simpler. REACH is an all in one SAAS solution for remote transactions where agents & clients can talk, see, fill out, sign, share, upload, and even verify ID, all from their mobile device with no downloads required. The combination of those basic SaaS tools in one single platform, allows firms to simplify collaboration and remove complexity from remote customer-facing transactions. \n\nUse cases include: onboarding, sales closing, claims processing, agent/client interactions, website support, and remote transactional meetings.
