Description
Avaap is seeking an experienced Enterprise Proposal Manager to join our growing team. The Enterprise Proposal Manager supports our RFP response process in partnership with businessdevelopment leaders. The individual in this role serves as a project manager for each proposal response, manages and updates standard response documents and graphics, and prints, ships and/or delivers physical responses.
Responsibilities Include
• Supports RFP response efforts; assists with go/no-go decisions and builds a proposal response plan, schedule, and starter templates• Manages, organizes, and updates Avaap proposal content• Understands all aspects of Avaap’s business and approaches for doing different types of work to help teams source strong proposal content• Populates proposal responses with reusable content and makes assignments to Avaap resources where additional effort or new content development is required• Works with business development resources to get the proper subject matter experts involved as needed on individual proposal responses• Owns administrator capabilities in Avaap’s proposal content management software, Ombud, and serves as a subject matter expert for using the software effectively (with training)• Assists with RFP requirements compliance, especially on large public sector responses• Assists with the formatting of proposal documents and graphics• Interfaces with Marketing resources for more complex graphics and image development• Owns all physical proposal submissions, including printing, collating, packaging, and delivering or shipping to the client• Understands Avaap’s formatting and style guide, including proposal, case study, and consultantresume formatting• Owns copyediting of all RFP responses for proper grammar, Avaap style, and effective business writing• Completes other related responsibilities as assigned based on business needs
Desired Experience and Skills
• Advanced academic studies or equivalent work experience related to Operations, English, Writing, or a similar discipline• Prior experience in proposal management• Intermediate to advanced skills in Operations and Proposal Writing related software and certifications e.g., Word, Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, PSA, ERP, etc.
Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.• Base Salary Range is $75,000 to $100,000. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.*During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
