At Xentral, we’re transforming how businesses use data — from analytics to automation. To strengthen our capabilities, we’re looking for a Software Engineer who thrives in a cross-functional environment and wants to build scalable services, extend existing infrastructure, and help shape our AI platform.
This role combines hands-on development, architectural thinking, and long-term impact: from building services in Golang and integrating with our PHP-based core, to driving the development of our internal AI platform in Python.
Your Tasks
- You develop and maintain backend services and data pipelines using Golang, contributing to our evolving service architecture
- You tackle infrastructure topics related to scalability, performance, and deployment
- You collaborate closely with the Xentral Core (PHP) team — with the opportunity to deepen your PHP knowledge over time
- You take ownership of our internal AI platform in Python, supporting analytics and automation use cases
- You contribute to the development of our new Analytics platform, then transition into broader engineering initiatives
- You work cross-functionally with product, core backend, and data teams
Your Profile
- You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or data engineering
- You bring a strong background in Golang and Python - and you’re excited about building scalable services in both
- You’re interested in infrastructure and architecture topics beyond writing code
- You enjoy working at the intersection of backend systems and data — from services to pipelines to AI tools
- You’re proactive, take ownership of your work, and bring a drive to push things forward
- You’re fluent in English; German is a plus
